About Core Learning

Core Learning Ltd. is an educational publisher of software, books, multi-curricular projects and on-line learning applications. Based in Toronto , Canada and Philadelphia , USA , its curriculum content is designed to address national and major state and provincial curriculum standards applicable to the North American K-12 education market.

Core Learning's mission is to provide effective learning solutions for the development of fundamental knowledge and skills. Its primary focus of skill development is in areas that both support higher order thinking but also provide important life skills. Products address key elementary and middle school curriculum areas in math, English language arts, health, art, and technology. Core Learning also publishes software to help develop critical thinking skills and maintain mental processing capabilities in young and mature adults.

With the use of sound instructional design principles and brain-based learning research, Core Learning has been recognized for its innovation and leadership in technology supported educational publishing. In addition to recent state-level adoption contracts, recognition is also confirmed by the many awards received including top awards from the Association of Educational Publishers (Most Innovative Software, Best Art Software, Best Test Prep Software), the National Association of Parenting Publications, Children's Technology Review and the Parents Choice Foundation.
